Dear friends of Litli Bóndabærinn,
After three and half wonderful years, we’ve decided to move from Laugavegur to #Korpúlfsstaðir, the beautiful old dairy in… #Grafarvogur. We realise this will be a little inconvenient for some of you, but we feel that our new home will offer a Litli Bóndabærinn experience like never before. Stunning mountain views, an iconic building full of period features, a beautiful courtyard and a gorgeous Victorian-style kitchen will hopefully make for a wonderful day out for the whole family.
We’ll still be offering all your favourite goodies, but with the addition of the hearty and very traditional #ploughmanslunch and decadent #afternoontea, as well as a selection of fresh farm produce and housemade yummies to take home with you, all within in a beautiful, countryside setting.
We’ll be opening within the next couple of months, from Thursday to Sunday, between the hours of 10 and 18. Please bare with us while we get everything ready and arrange all the right permits
#LitliBóndabærinn on Laugavegur will be closed from now onwards during the week, but open for the last three Saturdays of July where we’ll be baking like we’ve never baked before to give LB on Laugavegur a right royal send-off (think Queen’s Jubilee)
During the week, however, you can still buy our pasties at #Kaffibarinn, our veg rolls, brownies and shortbread at #IðaBókakaffi and a large and varying selection of our goods at our sister company, #Pallett, in #Hafnarfjörður.
Thank you so much for all your support and love, we are eternally grateful and look forward to seeing you at Korpúlfsstaðir whenever you get the chance. There’s a bus that goes direct from Hlemmur
We hope to see you these coming few Saturdays where we’ll be cooking up a storm and celebrating in true Litli Bóndabærinn style. We’ll be keeping you all updated on the progress at Korpúlfsstaður, so stay tuned
With love and gratitude,
David, Pálmar and Sarah
